It is difficult to maintain a balanced diet, healthy and varied, that meets nutrient recommendations today, where time, or rather the lack of time makes it difficult to search for quality of life. In all media need information about new products, food and news in the world's health, but do not always know what, how and why to consume certain products and sometimes not have enough information to do so.
So I decided to write in brief, descriptive and functional, such as consuming certain products that are beneficial to health and easy to be incorporated in the daily diet.
Flaxseed: It is considered a functional food because it contains elements that may reduce the risk of some diseases and its use can provide increased protection and organic reducing the rate of cellular aging.
Some studies say that flaxseed can help lower cholesterol levels due to the high content of soluble fiber and the presence of monounsaturated fatty acids, but there are other studies which are studied other properties of food as an aid in weight reduction, improved digestive system, nervous system, immune, cardiovascular, among other functions.
Flaxseed is rich in omega 3, and B vitamins, vitamin C, E and other minerals such as iron, zinc, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus and calcium.
The best way to consume this product is in powdered form to be better absorbed and have the possibility of added vitamins, yogurt, salads, pasta, bread and sauteed greens, etc..
Sesame: The sesame is rich in vitamin A, B1, B2, E, niacin, calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, copper, chromium, fiber and unsaturated fatty acids that help reduce cholesterol.
Lecithin, found in large quantities in food, facilitates the dissolution of fat in water, preventing cholesterol deposits on the walls of the arteries.
It also contains protein of high biological value, consisting of 15 amino acids.
The sesame can be added to bread, pasta, biscuits, snacks, salads and sauteed vegetables.
Quinoa: Quinoa, also called Quinoa Real is an excellent food of plant origin with high nutritional value. It is rich in protein and large amounts of vitamins such as B complex, vitamins C, E, and minerals such as iron, phosphorus and calcium.
It helps in reducing gastrointestinal problems in the integrity of the immune system in regulating cardiovascular function in wound healing, such as normalizing the prostate in the control of anemia, urinary problems, liver problems, malnutrition, osteoporosis, among others.
It can be eaten with fruit or added in vitamins and yoghurt.
Brewer's yeast: It is extracted from the fermentation of cereals. It is an excellent source of B vitamins that help regulate the bowel and its bacterial flora. It also contains copper and selenium, and is natural protector against radiation and pollution.
You can use 1 teaspoon of yeast daily, mixed in juice or water.
Whole Wheat: It is one of the most consumed cereals in the world, good source of complex carbohydrates, fiber, protein and vitamins. It is a source of glutamic acid, good for reasoning
It is found in breads, pasta, rice, flour, crackers, etc..
By adding these products in the daily diet you will increase your intake of important nutrients, which bring great health benefits, and best of all is that they are super fast and easy to be consumed as it just adds them to food.
