Dedicated to all our readers!
Recently we celebrated the World Day to combat AIDS, commemorating the day of black consciousness, the day the poor, the day soap opera. ... and the day of Metrosexual? When we commemorate this day?
Actually, I'm not in favor of these specific days, which in many cases seem to segregate the "groups" of people. Some dates are interesting, such as International Women's Day , since there is an imprint in history: On Day March 8, 1857, the workers of a textile factory in the United States made a big strike. They occupied a factory and began to demand better working conditions. The demonstration was completely repressed violence. The women were locked inside the factory, which was burned. About 130 weavers died charred. It's nice being able to remember these facts, which in my opinion should NEVER be forgotten ...
I think therefore that every day we need to look at women as a human being as equal as any man with the same rights and same obligations. What the media has shown us is a series of attacks on women like objects (or at worst a possession). Why cite a recent example and clear, that guy from St. Andrew, who kidnapped a week ex-girlfriend deserves repudiation of society, yes. And yet, far worse than the kidnapping (or false imprisonment), is the fact that he (aka nomezinho that has the guy, right?) Find that girl was not his, possession, we could only go out with him ... hence it feel right to keep her at home during that time.
I think a lot of women still did not understand what it is to have equal rights and submit, and submit their lives at the hands of beings who do not merit. Formerly the girl should marry a virgin (putttttzzzz, curriculum inexperienced !!!), and man? Previously the woman should stay at home waiting for the man today, I know many cases of friends who are expecting their wives. And many, many examples that I can only say that if someone called with the name of that mammal in the milk, just ignore ... pain-sickness! Nobody looks at the guy and a girl when he thinks all the good that it's not "ball", the tendency is to defame it ... But relax, it is you who has control.
When you have a little time passes at any newsstand and buy one of those paperbacks that sell for $ 10.00 and it takes by title Lysistrata . Aristophanes, a Greek comedian (very good, say by the way) wrote a comedy 400 years before Christ in which women make the first strike in history. The plot is pretty cool, and shows how women dominate the situation by refusing to have sex with their partners to get what they want. Look at some of this work:
Nothing is just black or white. There is always something new and something old in the new old, something feminine and masculine in something feminine in the masculine ... And there is much uncertainty in all this ... The only certainty in all areas, is it all, fortunately, uncertain, and nothing is final or finished.
So, here is our tribute to our readers, reminding them that in our history we can cite the names of Brazilian women extremely important, as Princess Elizabeth, the Marquesa de Santos, Anita Malfatti, Tarsila do Amaral, Olga Benário (although not Brazil was very important to the story) and so goes the litany of important women and who knows in the future we will have a blogger as a woman who made history.
